i've been reviewing y pipes and looking at videos as well.
if anyone has this mod, is it a big difference? does it matter what brand i choose? etc....
all i have mod'd is deleted resonator and ztube w/ k&n drop in.
im also a 6MT

yeah just be on the look for a used 350z HR Y-pipe, one of the best IMO especially since you can pick them up for under a 100 bucks

If you dont go that route there are tons in the aftermarket....I have a stillen Y pipe on my 6mt

 

HR y pipe + Coupe mid + oem muffler + ztube + K&N drop Filter + oem airbox = magic

i have an aftermarket. i got it for $85

makes a sound difference but no real noticeable power gains

 

where did u buy the y pipe for $85? easy install?

i have ztube w/k&n drop in, resonator deleted, and oem muffler.

i want a y-pipe, just not sure which to buy?

 

all the aftermarket ones are basically the same to me except the weld jobs and materials. I use a DE ypipe just bc the HR are still too expensive for me to tear apart from speed bumps.

i got mine from Statik Performance. its called M2. its put together a lot better than my last one and comes with all the hardware. and with my exhaust setup up it takes about 10-15 minutes to put it on in the driveway

Nope, HR is only on the 07-08 sedans. You have the Revup DE motor.
