HELP! Service Engine light after air filter change!
Edit: Im an idiot!! I must have not pushed in the plug that goes into the right side of the intake all the way! The VDC and SLIP light are now off but the SES is still on. Is it just a false SES light now and resetting it should be ok?

So I did my first ever maintenance on my own to this car and figured Id start with the engine air filter. It seemed easy enough. I followed the DIY video exactly and thought I did it perfectly.
Now, when I start the car, it makes it about halfway through the normal start up sound, sounds like its about to shut off then finally finishes the second half of the start up sound and seems to run normally (I hope that makes sense). The service engine soon light comes on along with the VDC off light and the SLIP light.
I have no idea what could have went wrong. Everything seemed to go smoothly just like in the video.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

MAF sensor, it's quite sensitive sometimes. Get some non-residue electronic contact cleaner from RadioShack. Spray the hect out of it, practically gushing/flushing it with the cleaner. Don't wipe it dry, don't touch it with your hands either.
The cleaner should dry fairly quick, then you should be good to go. You might want to a battery pull/reset also. In fact, you could do the battery/pull reset first and see if it clears it.
