Am I reading this right?

Your test pipes replace your cats, thus throwing the code since you don't have cats anymore. You just have to live with the code. Certain companies make their test pipes so that they don't throw the code - I don't believe Megan is one of them.

i under why test pipes will throw a code if the non fouler was not there... it would throw a code for o2 sensor... but im not having problems with an o2 sensor code. and only bank 1 is throwing this code not both.

curious question since no one has ever answered it to me, when you get test pipes, do you loose low end torque?

Yes, you will. Unless if you get ART pipes. Even with ART pipes though, you'll lose torque at very low RPM ( < 2000 or so)

thanks for the reply man, because my brother keeps on pushing me to buy some test pipes, because he put a test pipe on his SI and gave him 8whp and it was only one, but he argues that you dont lose anything, and if im not mistaking the more you open up exhaust on a N/A car the more torque you lose... now, do you lose any torque with high flow cats?

I guess I should clarify. You will gain torque overall, but lose it at low rpm. Over about 3k with regular test pipes you will still gain over stock cats. High flow cats will be pretty similar.
