factory spoiler on a non spoiler car?

kind of want to just do the lip on the back, like the 06 style. anyone have pics of the spoiler off to see what kind of drilling would be required?

06 doesn't have a lip..it has a wing. Unless you mean coupe??

Or would it just be easier to get the 3m adhesive ones? Idk, the trunk just looks boring without anything on it.

Or I just need to drop it and it will look fine

That is the IS300 or Euro style, not factory. I think it looks better than the factory one. It can be applied with either 3M or bolted on. I would do the 3M, in case you change your mind. You can always bolt it on later. I would also buy any spoiler already panted as it will be cheaper than having a body shop do it.

anyone like the short adhesive lips out there? I've seen a few members on here with them, but not alot of talk about them.

I've liked mine but am now getting bored and looking for something different. The problem is there just aren't that many options available.
