vq35 de engine potential

Two things:'
Hi, I am Sean and love the vq35de engine. I like your forum

Second, this is gonna be a long read.

How would you g35 sedan guys like to see 260 rear WHEEL hp?

A "fer instance": 2002 3.5 altima automatic tranny (190 fwhp stock)
Just boltons: With headers, catback, racepipe, udp, and a Trueflow midpipe for my intake (yep that's all), my car made 234 fwhp, 240 fwtq
dyno in link http://www.altimas.net/registry/vehi...?vehicleid=225

that is a 40 hp increase. the g35 already has a good intake but the sedan's exhaust is more restrictive than the coupe's so you will see ?probably? a 35 whp increase.

of course a fwd car cannot put that power to the ground, so now I am gonna trade up to the 6MT g35 sedan in a week or so. Then I am gonna take them headers and make em fit by modifing the collector (I hope that is all it takes) to fit on a longitudinal mounted engine

sorry for the long post. I will do before and after dynos

I still cant believe my car put down 300 crank hp (assuming a 22% tranny loss) with JUST BOLTON's

anyone here done any fuel system work yet? the stock injectors are only good for 290 crank hp, and we are going to hit that wall soon.
