As some of you kno i just purched my G last week. I was wondering how to tell if i have the sport package and if so what does it consist of or differ from the base models.(brakes, suspension, ect)

its and 03.5 6mt. It has the oem nismo aero kit so i assume i have the sport package. and i also read some where if u get a 6mt sedan it come standard with the sport package. feel free to tell me if im wrong lol

 

You are confusing years of the sport pacakage. All manual vehicles come with sport pacakge standard. Sport package is different for 2003-2004 and for 2005-2008.


The VLSD which is what is a big part of the Sport package was started in 2004.


The 2005-2006 sport package consisted of Sport wheels, VLSD, Sport Suspension.





However it may have come up in anyone's research, I do need to point out. No 03 or 03.5 G35 sedan ever left the factory for north american consumption with VLSD. For 2004 all 6MT sedan's got VLSD. For 2005 all sedan's equipped with the optional sport suspension come with VLSD, which is of course standard on 6MT sedan's

For 2003 year

Option packages for the sedan: Premium Package ($2200) includes a Bose premium audio system, dual climate control with rear vents, driver's seat memory, a power passenger's seat, reclining rear seats, automatic headlights, Homelink universal transceiver for opening garage doors and turning on house lights, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. thanks for your info... is it also true that there was no 6mt sedans until 03.5?

 

Question... I have an '03 G35 Sedan it has 6 spoke - 17" Rims/Tires... I am getting conflicting information about the car. I was told that 17" came with sport-tuned suspension and others are saying it can't be because I have 6 spoke instead of 5 spoke rims?

My car does have the BOSE system, but no Automatic headlights? I also have Leather interior and wood-trim.

 

Thanks. It's just so confusing, cause I am reading in other places that Base models came with 16" rims - doesn't matter how many spokes and 17" rims only came on sport-tuned suspension models.

 

The 16" wheels were 2003 only, and only came on the base model without sunroof and cloth seats. Very rare package that not many were made of.

Most 2003s were optioned with leather, and with that package came 17" wheels as well.

The only way you'd have 16" wheels is if your car had no sunroof and cloth seats as well.

I do not have a pic of the 16" wheels because they are rare. Not many came with them. Came with 205/65/16 tires

 

Cool. Yea, I just wanted to check. I have the 03 with 17" rims, Leather interior and Bose Audio.

 

The 5 spoke are nice looking wheels. They would be sweet on my I35.

 

Im not sure about this. My 04 5at sedan has sport suspension (red struts if I'm not mistaken) and I have the 6 spoke wheels. Including the full size matching spare. As well as all premium options but nav. So I dunno if I have some wierd franken beast or what.

 

Think I found the 16" rims

On a 250gt...but think they were the same offered on the 2003 g35

 

Should have came with a tampon in the trunk too.
