Really weird Rear blinker issue

Hi im new to infiniti and im having a weird issue ive searched and search google and this forum and cant really find anything on it so im hoping some one can help me out here....

when I turn on my turn signals on in either direction all of the lights on the back of my car flash. the top lights first and kind of dim then the leds and they flash like i had my hazards on. also when its started doing this the top lights stopped flashing when i would hit the alarm. any clues? I checked the grounding wire by the rear drivers side tail light but everything looks and feels secure there. idk

That is a weird problem. Back in the day (yeah, I'm ancient) it used to be a simple circuit to trace - fuse, switch, blinker unit, lamp, ground... But now it involves several of the car's onboard computers including what they call the "combination meter" (speedo, tach, gas, temp, turn indicators, and idiot lights) which appears to be involved in the signal processing and switching, not just the "indicating".

Some here have had problems with the wiring harnesses which go into the trunk lid through the hinges so that's one possible thing to look at. But beyond that finding the source of your problem may require a shop with the "Consult-II" diagnostics machine.

Best of luck.
