Might be downgrading to an 05-06 G..some Q's

Well i have an 07 now that's having issues. if i can't get it fixed i am getting another car with lower car payments. Thinking of an 05-06 G35x..just like my 07 G35x.

Anyone who has driven both..how much slower is the 1st gen compared to 07+? 0-60?

Only mods i would do is intake tint and maybe exhaust after a while. Will the intake give me the same sound as my 07 even though i have duel intakes? Any issues with the first gens that i should know about? haven't been on this side of the forum yet

I came from an 05 and I really don't think your gonna be disappointed with one. I loved my car. Had a very tight feel to it and the second you add a Z tube (which is hella cheaper than our new style intakes..) it really opens it up!!

Go take one for a drive and see what you think. You cant go wrong with an 05-06 G, especially if you go for one with the Navigation pack.

Pfff downgrading, you second gen guys are certainly funny.

You'll love the 1st gen G. They really are bad azz cars, but very different from the second gens.

I have a 2005 g35x and when I drove a 2007 g35x I dont feel a big difference in acceleration from 0 to 60mph.
But in highway at wot, +/- 50 to 90 mph i feel a good difference. 2007 really faster.

You always have the choice of a Kurookie or Nismo bumper if you want to change it up a bit.

Front is still sexy IMO.

I'll always, ALWAYS have a soft spot for first gen sedans. So much character in those cars.

The thing about 1st gen G's is that they grow on you. I didn't think they looked good. I thought the 03-04 was ugly until I owned one. I liked the Nismo front. But the 07 def looks better and is faster in my opinion. Interior I like the 05-06. The 07 is claustrophobic.

be cautious of the 05 stock NAV - that joystick is awful at best... otherwise, the car is awesome!
