Well, if hes eating Turkey sammiches then he may possibly have the Power:WEIGHT advantage over the bigger guys who gotta have the extra 40hp to lug their fat asses around.

that totally made me laugh this morning.

I'm very much looking towards a 06x if all things line up versus 07x or newer.

So i am still leaning twords an 05-06 G if my car doesn't get fixed. Looking forward to lower payments if that's the case. I see why so many people hate car payments. I can afford it..but i would much rather be putting into my bank and collecting interest for a house later on in life

Navigation pack isn't worth the 5lbs or so of extra weight.

I just keep mine to track the miles to my oil changes.

But to the OP, here's why 05-06's are the shiznit, and a major reason I went with one over an 07+... You can put a new radio in it!

^I like the stock setup in the 07+ Gs. Very functional! Also the studio on wheels>anything in the first gens.

Do these cars burn oil? I know the whole first gen burning oil thing. Also what is known to go on these cars multiple times. I remember reading somewhere...wheel bearings or cv joints? I don't remember what it was.

Oil burners are the 05-06 6Speeds. 05-06 common issues are the compression rods.
