Well clearly the beep sensor is out.
Looks like two diff issues:
1) have a mechanic look up the code
2) Check to see if your horn works. But maybe you advertenly changed the alarm settings. I changed mine to be silent.

Yeah i dont think i changed anything lol im not even sure how to do that, but one thing i wanted to mention is the fact that my after market nav unit (pioneer avic bt-310) stays lit after i turn off my car, it never did this untill my check engine light came on...not sure if thats related?
It's actually really easy to change the settings, could have happened in your pocket.
I can't recall but I think if you push the lock button twice and then hold it it changes it?
Someone else chime in on how that works.

Your service engine light could just as well be nothing.
Go have it read before you panic.
Mine came on after a 500mi trip to beat it to death all over a bunch of twisty mountian roads in NC/TN... SES light came on on the way home and I thought for sure the rough driving had got the better of it.....
.....plugged my OBD2 scanner into the laptop, read the code..... yeah.... guess who forgot to tighten the gas cap

I was concerned, but honestly not that much panic.
The car didn't sputter, temp good, etc etc... so I just told the guys I wanted to pull over at the next station so I could plug the laptop in and get the code.
...yeah, they picked on me when I told them what had happened

Good thing i came on here, i guess you guys were right, thank god..., i pushed both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time and it worked now its back to normal, also my check engine light went away yesterday before i even did this...weird, but thanks for the help peeps
Truth be told if still take the car to auto zone they can read the history of your codes to see what it was and they don't charge I had the brake traction and ses light come on in the winter there was a block of ice around the sensor in there I rinsed it off and that was the end of it
