plasti-dip rims and grill black 06 g35x sedan?
Hey guys,
I was thinking to plasti dip my rims and grill but I am not sure how it would look. The car is black so I think it would work but does anyone have any pictures of this on a black 05-06 g35?

Cheap = tacky
Proper way

You get what you pay for in life. In this case your $7 "paint job" will reflect just that.
From the cars that I've seen with plasti dip, some looked good and some looked bad. I feel like if you don't wash the car/rims every 2 days they will look dirty instead of a nice black color.
Thats probably the nature of the rubberized tool handle coating that looks dirty after being exposed to the elements daily. I've yet to see a set of rubber wheels that look good. Matte black can look good, gloss black can look good, textured back rubber doesn't.

Gloss black grill will look so good on an OB G. I would go the same route for your wheels, bit I say no to plastic dip, get them powdercoated. Which wheel is it?
As with anything, if you are gonna do something, do it right or don't do it at all. You have a nice car, take some pride in your modifications.
I think those wheels would have looked better if left alone. They look much better in original finish IMHO.
