If and when I ever get tints (I might try 50% all around), I'll get the best stuff out there. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING says cheap to me more than peeling tint on a car. OK, maybe it's tied with a rusted out POS with 22's and lambo doors, but I see a lot more cheap tint. It's a one-time expense, so I'd rather spend a little extra than have to deal with it down the road.

And it shouldn't have any impact on reception unless they damage the wires. There's nothing extra going between the wires and the glass, so there's nothing extra to cause interference.

Getting 35% on mine. NC law. Not really wanting to get darker and have to rip it off.

or seeing tints that turned purple from using improper cleaning products. I saw a car the other day with tints that were Barney purple all around, it looked hideous .

It's always good to have a tint on your ride.

tint all the windows cept' the windshield...how dark you go depends on laws (AS previously stated) and your personal preference. I say definitely tint them though, not only does it look good, its really a nice thing to have.

I have 5% with 20% over the two front windows and 5% over 5% on the back windows and rear window. Also have 20% on the windshield and I have zero complaints. I know it's not for everyone but living in Vegas with over 115 degree heat, it saves my life!

There gets to be a certain point in your life when you say "Is it worth the possibility of getting pulled over?" and instead of "YES! It looks great!" you go to "Nah, I'll just stick with lighter tint" I'm at that stage hahaha

My first car had 5% all around, second car was chrome fade tint, this will be 35% when I get around to it.

QFT - nice to see a few of us "old guys" agree!

Here's my DG sedan/black interior with 35%.

It definitely blocks the summer heat, and is easy enough to see at night. 35% is close to what the OEMs (like the Liberty in the driveway) use on rear windows.

Windshield tint seems like a liability to me. I say tint the windows with about 35% and you will be happy. 20% is too dark, and depending on where you live, it may be illegal.

I really gotta say 20% all around except windsheild is the way to go. Thats what I have and it looks perfect since I have the black interior. Sometimes I wish I had 50% on the windshield because it does get hot sometimes.

I live in cali and our laws state 35% in the back and none in the back. Not really sure but I havent got pulled over yet =]

Go with 20 or maybe 15. 5% is really too dark at night and will be hard to see.

I came in here to say anyone that uses the term "tints" should be slapped hard.

I might as well throw a pic in here, too. 35% all around except windshield with light tan interior.
