To tint or not to tint ?

so i set up an appointment to get my G tinted from a reputable place with a lifetime warranty. the price without the front windshield is 240$ and the price with the front windshield is 350$... should i go all out and do all windows or should i stick with everything but the windshield?

20% all around except windshield is the prize winner.

I'm an old dude, I guess, and I like to see well at night, so I went with 35% all around except the windshield.

Same here; keeps out the sun, but you can see at night.

I did 35% because it is the law and inspections suck.

20% is perfect.

When I was 25 and below .05% was the way to go.

35% with tan interior is almost worthless.

I have seen a lot of people do 35% all the way around including windshield and it is not bad at all.

Where do you live? I suggest checking your state's laws on it before getting it done. Some states allow pretty much anything, and some, like mine, have incredibly stupid laws (35% max on back windows, only a 4" stripe of 35% at the top on the front windows). SUV's of course, have no restrictions, which I've never understood. Someone could have a frickin' bazooka in the back of an SUV and nobody would see it, but oh no, we gotta see inside that sedan of yours.

With that said, I'd leave the windshield alone, or maybe go with something like 50% on it.

Same here. I'm too old to have cops busting my ***** for tint. Kinda embarrassing when you are out ona business lunch with clients from out of town.

35% all the way around, no windshield. Cost me $180

With all of you guys tints are you getting the best tints like the ceramic ones with 100% UV filtration and like 50% heat radiation?

Does the tint on the back window affect the built in antenna at all in terms of reception?
