New member with a "new" G35 Sedan!
Hello everybody! My name is Emanuel and I'm from Greenville, SC. I'm the proud new owner of a 2005 sedan, that I traded my 2009 Scion xB for. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for RWD Nissan's/Infiniti's ever since I had a 92 240SX hatch in high school. Unfortunately, when I went to college and bought something new and reliable, an SVT Ford Focus. I paid that car off went I finished up school and took a plunge on a 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5SE 6spd before I went to basic training for the Army.
Once I finished my basic and AIT, I ended up having a problem with the dealership and finance, long story....But I needed to get out of the ridiculous payment they stuck me with and I bought my 09 xB and lowered my payments by over $300 (I know right, freakin' Nissan).
But now that I'm about to deploy yet again, I wanted to lower my payments once more and buy a car that I've wanted since it came out...the American V35 Skyline sedan!!
So I drove across 2 states to pick up my G, that had just the right amount of miles, a great looking Carfax, and a dealer that was willing to give me what I wanted for my xB. So without further ado, here's my G in all it's stock-ness glory!!
Saying goodbye to my xB...

First time I laid eyes on her...

Sitting in the dirt all dusty...

Got her home safely...

First mod...pinstripe GONE!! I really hate pinstripe with a passion.

Then I had to get the windows tinted, South Carolina sun with leather seats don't make for a nice ride

And here are some pics of my xB in its prime...

And my Altima, I know, horrible fitment...

But that's my new baby...I'll be leaving my house in a week and won't be back til next year, so until then, it'll remain stock but my shopping list is already getting long.
I'm thinking at least 19x9'' Front 19x10'' Rear +20 to +30 offsets, nothing too crazy. Not set on which coilovers to get, I had KSports on the xB and I'll never do that again. Thinking maybe F&F or Stance, but the Pirate/MDU's seem pretty awesome for the price... I've done my research on slamming the G, and I know that some extra parts need to be bought for camber/toe in the front and rear, but not exactly sure what to buy and where to buy it.
As far as performance, my G is an auto (first automatic I've ever bought lol), but I needed my wife to be able to drive it so I won't go too crazy with the motor...maybe intake, plenum spacer, catback, ypipe, that should wrap it up.
Exterior wise, keeping it simple is the key I think, OEM front lip, roof and trunk lid lip spoiler.
I hate to have to wait a year to start modding, but that's the way it goes I guess. Anyway, I'm happy to be here and I can't wait to start modding!!

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Welcome to the family, you've come to the right place judging by what you did to the Scion. I normally don't like big stickers on my car but I LOVE the one on the xB, made me lol.
Are they available somewhere?

Cool, thanks.
Nice start already. Cant wait to see what you do to it after seeing your xB.
Theres quite a few G & Z owners in the area (I work in g.ville), check out the greenville thread in the regional/SouthEast section.
& be safe wherever your going, we appreciate what you do.
