thanks for the contribute but i used to have an m3 lip on the car. I kinda hoping to see if anyone fit a tl deck lid on.

its about 1/2'' to short .. you couldnt get one custom made a little longer ?? i dont recall the ebay seller but he will allow you to pick the lenght ...

it sure does .. im sure it is but the seller was calling it different. who knows

 

I had to bend the spoiler to fit the curved g35 trunk....

That's why it's shorter

 

i figured that but when your bought it off ebay what did you tell the guy ?? i want the lip and thats it and he made it the normal size .. my question above was could you have got it bigger if you wanted it ??? the other ebay seller allows you to create any size lip you want to have

 

I don't think the option of length was made available by the seller. It was pre- made. all he had to do was perfectly match the painting to the car using color code specific to one's car

 

All ebay sellers of your lip^^ will custom cut it to whatever length you want, you just have to ask. The perfect size is 1170mm and that will cover the trunk edge to edge with the bend. I bought one a long time ago and it looks like yours. I believe mine was 1147mm.

No worries, there was a huge debate a coupe of years ago about these and what length was good. 1147 was the first length we decided on and after a couple of us purchased them it was determined that 1170 would give the side-to-side coverage most people wanted. I happen to like the way mine looks for some strange reason.
