HELP! Snapped Rusted lower control arm bolt

Im in need of a point in the right direction. I went in to get tires and an alignment today and the bolt that attaches the rear lower control arm snapped.
the dealer wants to charge me 1300 to replace both rear lower control arms. is that really the only way or is it possible to just replace the rusty bolts?

Haha what dealer are YOU going to? Just replace the bolt and be done with it. Unless the rubber bushing things that the bolts pass through have disintegrated or something. And in that case, buy a used set on here.

next time you decide to remove a rusted bolt on your car you should go buy some BP blaster it comes in a spray can and it works very good at getting any rusted bolt / screw off you can get it at your local auto part store or online

here is a link where i buy all my parts and screws and bolts from we share alot of the same parts and screw and bolts with the 350z 2006 and older years

Did you break it or did the alignment shop break it?

It was the shop i went to. they aligned the front for free and gave me a discount on the tires I bought ;-) ... I got under the car myself to make sure the bolt wouldnt back out on its own and to make sure it wasnt siezed it wasnt so it let me adjust the wheel so I went to a different dealer and ordered the bolts. I hate the way service writers at dealerships try to get over on you. I spent 150 just about on all four bolts and nuts and the drive belts for my car... add a friend and a bottle of ciroc and I just saved myself $1200... parts come in on tuesday cant wait (currently scared of my car)

OEM Belts are ~$40 for both and 4 bolts and nuts maybe $5. How the hell does the dealer come up with $150?

Do the front lower arms from a 350z fit on a 2005 G35 sedan? Apparently my car has one of the front ones broken.

Naw mine is the rwd. The suspension was making a creek when I took bumps slowly and when I got it checked one of the lower arms was broken. So, I guess the wheel is moving back and forward now I will be ordering one from my dad's dealer from a 350z then. Are ball joints, shocks and absolutely everything interchangeable?

when a shop breaks something, they most likely pay for it.

Rear control arms, i assume are the same as camber arms. That is $200 from SPC or w/e it is at nissan. Not 1500$. Is the bolt stuck in the spindle and they want a new spindle as well? Then i can see the price being sky high. You can buy a bushing alone for $7-15 each. Hit that in with a large enough socket.
