HElPPPPP!
driving home from work, and i start to hear some type of rubbing with my front left tire. almost sounds like a card stuck in a bike tire except louder. it doesnt consistently make the sound but comes and goes. it doesnt change when i hit the brakes either. i checked the tire for anything obstructing it but theres nothing. PLz someone help!
Check your lugs! I had that happen on my tc before and i ignored it for a day and when i finally checked it i had lost 2 lugs and another was on the verge of falling off. If not check for a tire rip where it hits your fender liner or maybe even your fender liner is torn/ripped and rubs with your wheel

Your car doesn't have cv joints on the front, that's where FWD cars have theirs. Sounds like a brake issue, check the pads to make sure they are installed properly and look for something stuck in the tire/wheel/ hub area. I'm dealing with the same issue on my driver's side rear and for the life of me I can't figure out what it is.
maybe theres a playing card stuck in your wheel? pull the wheel off, check for uneven wear on the pads. You can also jack the car up, place one hand on top of the wheel and one hand on the bottom and try to wobble the wheel.. if it wobbles, its probably a worn out wheel bearing.

I had an issue like that, but it only happened when turning. I checked my front wheel liners and found one of them hanging down, probably rubbing on the suspension when I would turn. I bought some push clips and that helped some, but still didn't fix it completely.
So I decided to take my front tires off and check everything to see if I could find anything rubbing. Nothing unusual. I put them back on, but this time I used my torque wrench when tightening them (80 ft. lbs) and the sound is now gone. So I'm not sure if it was caused by the lugs being too tight before, or maybe the hubcentric rings not centered properly... But that fixed it so I'm happy.
