'05 G35x AWD fuse pulled=limited throttle?
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has experience comparing power delivered to the ground with the AWD fuse in and out? Butt dyno feels like the car limits the throttle once I pull the fuse (Not because of wheelspin). Does this really happen, or am I just imagining it?
Second question:
How can I stop these damn one wheel burnouts?

Iv read about others doing it for months without issues, all it does is stop the electronic clutch in front from engaging. Yes, I always turn VDC off unless the roads are wet.

6spd... I used my brain enough to figure out it wont hurt my car at all, use yours and learn to read my questions. Sorry if your upset bc you didn't know about this mod before you bought a RWD because X owners get the best of both worlds.
Turn the VDC off. If you really like have the option you can wire a snitch inline with the fuse. I swear my car felt peppier leaving lights with the fuse out. But meh with 200lbs of dead weight in the car might as well use as intended.
Interesting that yours felt peppier, I feel like since the car knows something is wrong it won't operate at 100% but that's just me. That's exactly what I did, I wired up a click on click off switch and mounted it near my VDC off button. How do you go about going in and out of RWD mode? I haven't found a way to go back to AWD other than turning the car off then on.

although I'm still not sure I understand the reason for trying this ????
My reason for trying it was just to say I have the option of AWD, 4 WD in snow mode, or 2WD all at my fingertips.
Pulling the fuse won't hurt anything. As for why you're experiencing the loss in power it could be that even when you switch off the VDC switch it never fully disables VDC. The only way to do that is to wire in a full power cut switch to the VDC module. I had done that on my 350z that I used to track and it worked great, no more loss of power. The question is: What lights are on in your dash because of the fuse being pulled? Just AWD or are there others? That would also help us figure out what was going on.
