I guess will have to wait until I take it in to see what happens. I talk to a buddy of mine that works for a insurance company as a claim adjuster. He said it shouldn't be a problem. They might not give me the full amount because its lowered. But really would they give me the full amount if it wasn't lowered. PROB. NOT. DAMN CROOKS!!!!!!

put the OEM back and take it in. They will find any possible excuse to get out of it + it might stick in ur car record if there's any body work. ;-)

just an opinion.

i think u can simply say.. and may work.. if they ask is your car lowered, try and say something like "lowered? how? like different size tires?" and if they persist.. just say "i purchased my car like this.. and installed those wheels"

QFT. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I didn't know parents did that these days.

so you think they are likely to pro-rate it due to it being lowered + you have to pay your deductible + your rates will increase = not worth claiming

they will write you a check for a couple of bucks that you will end up more than paying for thru increased premiums..

You have to pay to play!

If you want to be lowered, then you have to accept damage that would not otherwise have occurred.

Man up.

yupp ^^^ when i ran over a shredded tire and blow my front apart i didnt call my insurance company or anything. cause i knew they were going to send someone out to look at the damage and im sure the first thing the guy would said why is your front bumper so close to the ground ...

if your slammed and shiit happens, deal with it and pay for it , you know exactly what your getting into when your dropped 3+ inches from stock height

I guess some of you have some bad insurance agents.

I talked to my agent when I was discussing insurance and they told me everything is covered on the car.

If you modify heavily, let them know. After I installed about $3,500 in audio upgrades they said its covered and i shouldn't have a problem. Same with lowering.

See if your comprehensive coverage will cover this.

Its not a scam unless you try changing stuff on your car.

well im not trying to sound like an *** by what i said. i have had my experience with an insurance adjuster.. and they arent nice and complete A-Holes. yea they screwed me a bit so why dont they get some of their own medicine?

anyhow, OP after everything you may end up paying more for this repair over the years cuz of your insurance claim and deductible.
