Has anyone tried the Exedy OE clutch off of eBay? I was just told by a sponsor that their Exedy supplier told them anyone selling that clutch for under $300 shipped is selling a replica of their part.

For the record, this was after I asked the sponsor to price match the $233 eBay price for the Exedy NSK1000 OE clutch, after I was offered $329 shipped.

Can anyone shed any light?

What vendor did you speak to?

 

I think it would be bad taste to post their name in the event it is damaging to their reputation, I'm not looking to bash any sponsors, I just want to know if what he told me is true.

 

two years ago on my old '92 240sx I replaced my clutch with the Exedy OE clutch that I actually got from ebay, worked great on the 240...

 

gripforce is a very good supplier, i ordered my DBA rotors through them for a great price. But on ebay theres a seller selling the exedy nsk1000 for i think 233 shipped.
