For the sake of fingerpointing and alleged "false advertising", why not just use photos of the actual product you are selling?
I mean, wouldn't it be better if someone made a decision on your site by viewing your product rather than just a photo of something similar?
I'm in a marketing class right now in school so this is kinda what I'm learning...

pm me about the marketing stuff if you want jbf, i loved those classes.
The class is pretty easy so I think I'll manage lol. But it was coincidental that the chapter I was reading earlier today was about advertising.
I agree with what poster's above said, post pictures of what YOU are selling. Not a picture of something that is "similar", even if it is identical. When I see a company post pictures of something that is "similar", I believe they have a substandard product and think no one will buy it if they show their product. If you post pictures of you own stuff on your site, this all goes away.

i never once changed any photos. the descriptions always said they were a TYPE of shift ****. never once did i claim they were an authentic product/exclusive product. Give it a rest sean.
FYI i was approached to put those on my website for advertising. Out of respect i didnt put them on the forum. hmmm
