Quote: Glad you aren't gonna argue this, cause you are wrong. I handle this kind of stuff with various vendors on this site, even some who would be in my circle of "friends" and I never have any issues.

j/k of course

Quote: For the sake of fingerpointing and alleged "false advertising", why not just use photos of the actual product you are selling?

I mean, wouldn't it be better if someone made a decision on your site by viewing your product rather than just a photo of something similar?

I'm in a marketing class right now in school so this is kinda what I'm learning...
that is infact what im doing. everyone has their panties in a bunch.

The class is pretty easy so I think I'll manage lol. But it was coincidental that the chapter I was reading earlier today was about advertising.

I agree with what poster's above said, post pictures of what YOU are selling. Not a picture of something that is "similar", even if it is identical. When I see a company post pictures of something that is "similar", I believe they have a substandard product and think no one will buy it if they show their product. If you post pictures of you own stuff on your site, this all goes away.

^ i agree. Hence the pics on the site are exactly what i am selling. again, everyone wanted to point the finger and assume otherwise.

^ only because you changed the photos and descriptions which clearly reflected a product that you did not have.

i never once changed any photos. the descriptions always said they were a TYPE of shift ****. never once did i claim they were an authentic product/exclusive product. Give it a rest sean.

FYI i was approached to put those on my website for advertising. Out of respect i didnt put them on the forum. hmmm
