Unhappy G35x '06 front seats.

Looking for some advice here. Wanting to buy a G35x, test drove an '06 yesterday. Loved the car, except for the fact that I could feel the seat controls on the right side of the driver seat pushing on my leg. By the end of the short test drive it had gotten quite uncomfortable and I found myself adjusting my driving position trying to get away from them, but couldn't find a comfortable position.

Searched the forums here before posting, but don't see anything on this . . . is this a common problem? The seat looked fine, I'm guessing I'll have the same problem on any '05 or '06 I drive.

Any owners out there experience this and find a way to mitigate the problem? I loved everything else about the car but don't want to buy it if I'll be uncomfortable - especially since I would end up doing some very long drives (multi-day) in this car if I bought it.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Check this thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...vers-seat.html

I believe there is a TSB fix where the dealership adds foam around the seat controls.

thank you

Thanks for the reply. Took a while to wade through most of that thread (not sure why a search didn't find it for me). While it looks like there are ways to mitigate it, not sure I want to purchase one on the chance I can fix it. If I already owned one I'd be open to trying them, but I think with a little patience I can find a 2007 or 2008 with better seats and 20+ more hp for not too much more money

It's not a problem for me in my 04x but if's a problem for you I'd get the 07-08 then if they're more comfortble for you.
