03 G35 sedan exhaust

I'm thinking about getting an exhaust for my G35. I am also having trouble finding one I like. I'd like it to have a nice deep sound, not raspy or ricey sounding.
Have any of you done a resonator delete, how does that sound?
If anyone knows any good exhaust systems it would be appreciated.

Thanks

your are in the coupe section.. if you have a sedan you should go to the sedan section.

also use the search button, if you are looking for sedan exhausts, here is a whole sticky thread:

if you have a coupe and your title is just wrong here is the thread for that:

Moved to sedan section, but heed Roh's advice.

I know, but what type of noise? Annoying and raspy or a low rumble?

Don't do it is all I will say. You won't be happy with that. Best bets to get better sound would be to either get an HKS muffler, a Tanabe medallion exhaust system, or add a set of ART pipes to your stock exhaust. I'd recommend getting a Motordyne VQ exhaust, but you'd have to find one used as they're not being made anymore. Here's a quick vid of my car, I'm running:

MD XYZ with resonated module
MD resonated midpipe
MD VQ muffler
ART pipes

noise, as in unwanted. I've never heard the word noise used to describe anything good.

I'm with Genuis, you say you don't want rasp then ask about a resonator delete, that's a quick jump from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Resonators reduce rasp and drone, the longer/larger the better, especially for an aftermarket (louder) exhaust. You'd be best getting a LARGER resonator and freeing up the rest of the exhaust IMO..

Straight pipes on the sedan sound like **** unless your boosted, go for smaller resonators. That exhaust compilation has all you need

Thanks everyone, I just wasnt sure what type of sound will come out of a resonator delete. But I'll look into some of the stuff Blue Dream said.

what's your budget? that'll be a big determining factor of what exhaust you'll likely get.
