Need Help Pricing G35x

Hello, Everyone

I'm getting 2005 G35x within 3 weeks, and I need to know what will be a best price to pay for it. I know you guys had your moments with sales person at the dealer and I was hoping that you guys will tell me best price on it.

This is the quote that I've got from my dealer:
2005 Infiniti G35 is:?34,985 + taxes and fees.This includes premium package c

Can you guys please tell me if this is the best price I could get??

You probably can't do a whole lot better. I was just offered $35,000 for G35x with premium package.

That sounds about right. When I bought my 2004 G35X in March I compared the price I paid to what others were posting and found that people were quoted more or less depending on where they lived. I happen to live in the Pacific Northwest. I could choose from the local dealership, about 20 miles away, or choose from dealerships 180 or 270 miles away. It didn't make for a very competitive sales environment.

Thanks, guys

I live in Atlanta Gerogia, and it hardly snows here. I just moved down here from Chicago about 3 month ago. In my heart it's telling me to get G35x, but I dought that I'll be needing AWD in Atlanta. Because of the weather and everything, I really don't need AWD right? Tell me your thoughts.

If you want it, get it. I'd think between wet roads, ice storms and a little snow now and then, you'd find a use for it.

BTW, we paid about $800 over invoice for an 05 G35x with Premium, Nav, wood and Sirius, and felt ripped off. Certainly don't pay more than that.

Invoice was $35921 (G35x, Nav, Sirius, Wood, truck mat)

VPP (with $170 of crap from the dealer) was $36379. Then they added $350 of pure profit onto the VPP price, which I've since found out they aren't supposed to do. I'd have told them to go screw themselves, but the car was for my wife, and she wanted it.
