Hey guys so i wanted to buy the MD VQ exhaust while it was still available for $777 and i never did because i got really financially messed up when i PCS'd through no fault of my own..... either way though i was wondering if anyone knew why Tony stopped offering them was it due to not enough sales or ? and secondary question is do you think if we generate enough interest, would tony be able to have a "limited production" run based off the old designs... thanks in advance and Tony if you are reading this: take the hint

 

His name on here is hydrazine and I'm pretty sure a handfull of guys have asked him to make more and so far he hasn't. But you could buy the mid pipe and the titanium harikiri that he made for the sedan but its a little expensive, or I would have bought one.

yeah i've thought of going that route but i just dont think that sedans look good with "straight mufflers" they need the oval like tanabe/hks/stock or MD vq!

 

When Tony introduced the VQ he mentioned that it was going to be a limited run from the start so I doubt he's going to make any more. He is great about taking suggestions though, his first VQ muffler was a single tip and after multiple requests he introduced the twin tip.

I got lucky a few months ago and reached out to him in the hopes he had a spare one laying around. He mentioned he still had the prototype TT in his garage and he sold it to me for a ridiculously low price since in his words it wasn't "pretty". Won't say the exact price but I will tell you it was well under $350 shipped including the mid pipe.

ha ha ha i know what you mean man i'm not hating i am just hoping to start a "movement" because maybe if people will show interest in by far one of the best exhausts that was offered for our beloved sedans and get a little "petition" going maybe Tony would be kind enough to be like "i wanna shut this guy up" and he makes some lol PLEASE TONY!
