this is my plan...

if i need an engine, I'm going to pay the 2 stacks to get it fixed and sell the car.

im gonna get at least 7 to 8 stacks and use that towards the coupe..

i appreciate the links and insight u guys gave me

You took the first step, got it out of the dealership!

Stop stressing, don't buy anything, and have it properly inspected

Barring the engine over by hand is very easy and will tell you if the engine is locked up without potential damage.

I know how you feel, so take a deep breath, relax and watch a movie or something because if you are panicking then you are not thinking clearly.

Take car to known good mechanic and tell him to diagnose the car. Most likely you dont need a new motor.

x's 2 (even the stacks part)

I'm willing to bet you need a crankshaft position sensor and/or a camshaft position sensor and someone is taking you for a ride.

And if you don't like that idea, don't bother replacing the engine. Sell it to me as is.

i spoke to my uncle this evening

ironically he bought an engine last month

he's taking my car to the place he bought it to inspect the engine.

i hope i get some good news..
