no power on launch

I have an 03 sedan 5AT. It has the 3.3 open diff. When I do a hole shot with this car it bogs down then kicks back in. Even if I stall the converter up. I've tried everything even dissabling the G-sensor (yaw sensor) and still has no *****. It won't even spin the tires. Really sucks. Does any one know why this is, or know what I can do to solve this. It feels as if the computer kills the power in it because if I do a slow roll in 1st gear it hauls a** and spins the wheels, but from a dead stop launch it has no *****.

what are temps like in your area? have you had someone stand behind your car to see what is happening when you punch it? with an open diff and cold roads, you may just be spinning one wheel and not knowing it.

its definately not spinning. When I stall it up then release the brake it falls on its face for like 5 feet then kicks back in and takes off, hut by that time the person I'm running has a strong lead on me and I have to run him down, and yes the yaw sensor was disabled along with traction control so I'm thinkin there has to be something else causing the power shut down. Because like I said in my first post, if I do a 5mph roll in 1st gear then stomp it the car spins the tires and takes off like a monster. But it won't do sh** from a dead stop. My next step in my quest to figure this out is to get a higher stall converter and if that does work then I'll know for sure that the computer is still shutting it down

Also wondering about the VDC light with this mod...

So by pressing the VDC button, the dynamic control is turned "off"...but some functionality still remains?

And by placing a normally closed switch in line with the yaw sensor power wire, the dynamic control is turned off completely - with only ABS left functioning?

Thanks!
Eric
