Okay so I lifted the car a few days ago and wiggled the wheels and I see that the part that has a bearing that is busted is not the compression rod. It's one bearing on the left side of the car. The first two pics are taken from under the car at the front end looking toward the rear. (The second one is closer.) It's the shiny piece that the strut bolts onto. The last pic is taken directly under the busted bearing.

Anybody know what the link there is called so that I can search for the bearing for it at G35parts or ask for the right part from Infiniti?

It's a bushing not bearing, you can replace whole lower control arm or buy a new bushing and have it pressed in.

Oh yeah sorry I meant bushing. And I will most certainly be pressing this bushing in with my handy-dandy press I bought when I replaced the rear wheel bearings. (Glad to be able to use for something again.) So all the bushings on this control arm are the same?

Try the aftermarket bushings from Whiteline or Energy Suspension. They will last a LOT longer than OEM and you can get them from some of our vendors here on Driver. You need bushings for the lower control arm, not the compression rod.

Hey I got these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/400360767396...84.m1439.l2649 Are you sure these are the control arm bushings that I need? Here are some pictures with me holding one of these next to the bushings on my car. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...f/CIMG2525.jpgName: CIMG2525.jpg

They look quite different, the poor condition of the original notwithstanding. Like a lot thicker or beefier than what's on the car. I suppose I could have taken a picture of the lower control arm inner bushing on the right side too, since it's actually still in good shape, but I didn't think of that before.
