Hello fellow G Owners,

You've been there over the past 3 years when I needed technical advice or stereo recommendations, but I now I need your opinions! I've come to realize that this "project" that is my G is not going to come to fruition. The car at this point is 6 years old, it's got a shade over 70K, I've got a baby on the way and let's face it- I'm getting the itch for something new. (S4, M3- but that's a whole different discussion though)

There are couple last *cheap* things I was considering doing while I still own the car, which includes some wet-sanding on paint blemishes, tint, Sirius, and I was considering painting my factory 17's black. I figured I'd get flamed for this, but I thought I'd ask... Should I do it? They are the standard 7 spokes that come on the X.

Let me know your thoughts- oh and if anyone has a pic of an '05 OB with black 17's, I'd like to see it!

Hm, if you think you're gonna end up getting a different car soon once your baby comes, you should just stick with the subtle mods, like tint and fixing up the paint. Don't paint your wheels black though! Just my 0.02.

 

Agree with above post. Keep it as stock as possible if you are going to get rid of it.

Honestly I probably wouldn't put anything into it though
