The LEDs themselves will last a very long time, but since there's someone's workmanship involved here, I'm not sure about the bulbs you guys are buying, it really just depends on where you're purchasing from. All the LEDs I've purchased from vleds.com have lasted years, and never burned out before I changed them out. Others that I've ordered from this site's sponsors have been good to me, others I've purchased from vendors have gone out. Basically, for the most part, if the LED bulb is going to burn out, it'll happen within a few months. The little power going through them isn't going to harm them much.
