Nickk6,
Congratulations! Your car looks great!
I am sure I am not the only one who freaked out when you said it cost you 42k!
Normally, people don't include financing charges and most do not take additional warranty. If you remove those two items, your car cost about 37k out the door, which is right in the ballpark.
BTW, I was under the impression that the 05's came with lighted steering wheel redundant controls along with lighted controls on the door. From your pictures, it doesn't look like, at least, the steering wheel controls are lit at night.
Again, congratulations on your fine choice!

Hi, thanks. Yeah your pricing is right, I'm not complaing
.
Yeah all the controls are lighted, I didn't have my headlights on in the pictures, those were just whatever lights up when the keys are in the on position.
I found this car to be really rough for a luxury car. It does not drive very smooth, somewhat ridged ride feel. The engine feels very throaty, just like a V8. The seat is a bit uncomfortable, especially on left hand turns.

This gives you the same spring rates as the coupe & 350Z.
The struts are also firmer, to match the springs.
If you're not interested in performance handling & want a softer ride you can swap out your spings & stuts for the regular suspension. I'm sure there's someone here that would love to do a staight trade.
I will be getting a BASE MODEL 6MT within 2 months (waiting for Tax returns).
Currently I have shopped around and with my COSTO (Price Club) membership I may purchase one for $1000 over invoice. Invoice on the Base model is $28,013 I believe with an MSRP of $30,420. Anyone else get a better deal?????

Free car washes at the dealer? But would you really take your car to the dealer for a car wash? Granted, its free.. but seems like some of the "dealer horror" stories I've heard are from people getting pissed off about the car wash (small surface scratches, using harsh towels, leaving hard water deposits on the car in the sun, etc)..
I've been hearing Thousand Oaks Infiniti offers free oil changes if you buy your car there.. to bad Thousand Oaks is really far from south OC..

My cousin and his friend both take their 04 Coupes in weekly and I havent noticed any damage. However, personally I am a freak about my cars paint and wont let some person with out any car detailing experience touch my car. I mean these guys most likely whipe the rims with the same towel they use on the cars body. My cousin also told me they take it around back and he doesn't even see them do it. I'm not lazy either, so the effort of washing it is more fufilling then driving 8 miles to the dealership.
I rather have free oil changes.

Well, I bought My Audi A4 from the MV Audi next door which uses the same car wash equip, and they always use Micro Fiber Towels.
I paid $25 to get a car wash at a "Hand Wash" place figuring I'll be getting the star treatment...I was wrong.....they used the ghetto red rags to dry everything off. I'd rather drive 10 mins down the road and get my car washed for FREE at the dealership plus it the dealership wash was waaaayyyy better, hands down.

Nickk6-
Nice looking car, but I passed on the extended warranty and the Nav on my 2003.5. I know where I'm going and a map or a print off from mapquest is not $2000+, but that's a judgement call for each owner. It just seems like a waste of $$$ to me.
The extended warranty is fine if you keep the car for more than 4-5 yrs. They will send you a option to purchase the extended warranty when you get close to the end of the factory 4 yrs and if you haven't had any problems you are probably good for another 3 yrs until stuff goes sideways. I haven't had any problems to date yet, knock on wood.
Enjoy the car, you didn't want a front wheel drive car anyway!

Well, my 2002 Nissan Altima had 2 trannys break, 1 engine burning enough oil in 2,500 miles to not touch the dipstick, the shift boot broke 4 times, no control over the temperature (cable broke, part is on national back order, my gf's Altima broke as well however she was still under warranty), roof molding came up, molding under the front wind shield was drying out and had to be changed, clutch pedal assembly broke(not from my driving)....I can't remember everything off the top of my head, I have a stack of papers at home. I had the extended warranty but it was only for power train. Infiniti's is for EVERYTHING for 100,000 which is what sold me. I should add, I would have not bought this Nissan if the warranty was so good, if it wasnt RWD I would have never owned another Nissan again
Navigation...whats 2 grand? Doesn't make much a difference beteween 34 and 32k when buying the car. Sometimes its nice to have it, I used it today and it saved me from making a U-Turn, seriously. Plus its great to see where you are, especially when you have a 5-0 chasing behind you and You can see where you are going on the map
