2005 6mt

Congrats on getting the sedan 6mt!! I've been looking at the 05 sedan 6mt around in so. cal. it's hard enough to find an 05' 6mt sedan let alone specific options... been looking for premium, nav, and full aero kit (black/graphite). so, far i've gotten a pretty good price from costa mesa of 1k over invoice considering nobody seems to have a 6mt sedan. So, hopefully in another 1-1/2 weeks, i'll be joining this board!

Hey sakuragix, this is what I did.
Use the infiniti website to "Build and Locate". Then extend the search radius to about 100 miles. Set the criteria to Sedan 6MT. Look through the dealers inventory and make sure the settings say Sedan and 6MT. It will pull up the sedans due to be delivered at the dealership.
Tustin has a blue 6mt that they were tryin to sell me, they also had a black one that I test drove, so i don't recommend that one.
Costa Mesa had none when I went in, but I believe they have a silver one now because they are still calling me (I wont pick up the cell phone)
Riverside also had a DG.
If you search using the Infiniti website, keep in mind, some of these cars have not arrived at the dealership, but they should be there anyday. When I went in to go buy my car, it came off the truck as we were signing the papers which was a nice suprise considering it had no test drive miles on it. Don't rush if you are patient you should be able to get the car you want. The only thing I didn't get was wheat leather, which looks more luxurious than black, but I am happy I got black interior again, it doesn't show stains, just dust.
Also use the costco or tripple A discount at Costa Mesa, they knock off about 2,000. Infiniti Mission Viejo sold me the car for 34,454, but the sticker said 36,810. If you want the extended warranty, make sure you get it for about 1,500, they will try to shove it to you for 1,800.
Good Luck

Nick - so appartently you weren't aware of the fact that u have the sports suspension? Did u drive a new g that did not have the sports suspension, and if u did, how dramatic is the difference? Just curious. The wheel/tire package for the sports suspension is SO MUCH SWEETER than the 17"s that come with the non-sports models..

I know I have sport suspension, its standard on the 6 speed. The only non sport suspension i've driven was a loaner my cousin got awhile ago. However, I drove it on the smooth streets around where I live and I didnt go on the freeway with it. So I don't know the difference.
Nickk6,
Just wanted to let you know I got my Twilight Blue 6MT from Tustin Infiniti yesterday!
I love this car! Even though it's still in the break in period, I can feel the power.
Hopefully, after all this raining stops, I can get to enjoy the driving experience even more!

Drv4fun,

I'd love to check out your new '05 up close and personal sometime!
Edit: oops ... directed it to the wrong person!

Lets see some pics. Did you get it with no test drive miles and who was your sales man?

Yes, I did get the wheat interior/premium.
I hope it stops raining soon so I can take some pix and post them.
BTW, any plans on tinting your windows? I'm looking for local tint deals...
It had 8 miles when I test drove it. The orig sales person I talked to was Rick (Internet dept).

Good so you got it with no test drive miles.
It's not that sunny out to tint the windows
. Tint dries better in warmer temperatures, so I'm gonna wait for summer time. Plus I like the girls to check me out in the car for now while its new.
