R&D Valve Cover Seal Follow-up

I am hoping to get feedback from those of you who have used their valve cover seals. I have oil in my spark plug wells and just wanting to find out how the new seals are holding up.

Please let me know how many miles you have on the new seals and if the spark plug wells are still dry.

Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up on L-fab. Their prices look to be a little better since they include the gaskets and pcv valve. I have the same question for them as well though...how are they holding up so far?

RnD mentioned they have 20k miles so far on one of their test cars, with no leaks.

I don't. I've been trying to contact them for the past 5 days with no response. I've sent them a deposit which I may have to dispute thru paypal if I don't hear something soon.

They just posted on the other site stating that they've been having issues with people not returning cores so they are trying to find more covers to rebuild. Likely the reasoning behind the hold up, still on their part would be nice to have received a PM regarding this info and an ETA on your covers.

Yep...thats all I'm really looking for, is a response. They told me a few weeks ago they had another source for covers and should get more in last week. Hopefully we'll hear something soon.

If/when you hear something and get yours, keep me updated. I have a leaking #5. I noticed a few people ask on the other forum about only buying one but the guy keeps responding in PM not leaving it open for public viewing hence I am not able to know what his response was.

I'll keep this thread updated. I'm not sure where I am on the waiting list, but hopefully near the top.

I just heard back from L-fab and they are suppose to get more cores in next week. I think L-fab would buy your old covers.

Besides the oil accumulation in the spark plug tube, are there any other problems with the leaking valve cover seal? Just wondering if this is worth spending money on.
