spring replacement help
Hello feels good to be back on driver!
My struts and springs are in need of replacement i'm not looking for a drop or anything. Just looking for something equal to or an improvement to the OEM sport tuned suspension on my 03 sedan so i was looking at the Tokico blue struts but what springs would go well price matters which is why im not going with OEM im currently purchasing my first home so im saving as much as possible
any help would really be appreciated i really dont want to lose ride quality.
PS please dont reccomend anything i'd need a camber kit for or springs that would drop the car more than an 3/4 inch thanks!

Grab some 350z springs, it's a 1 inch drop but you can get them for like $100 or look out for some used sedan oem springs for like $50. Almost all aftermarket springs will lower you.

if your're not looking to lower the car at all, just replace yor shocks and use your OEM Springs. get the tokico blues or KYB. If you want Shocks with adjustable dampening, check out tokico d specs.

(both are exactly what I was thinking). We'll see if Allan's measures up.You could also go with a fresher set of used coupe springs if you're worried about wear; very little drop and as stiff (base) or stiffer (sport) than your 03 sedan sports.
You could do what I did for my 2003 sedan. I used to blue Tokicos with springs from a coupe. The sport version of the sedan should have the same springs as the non-sport coupes.
The car drives much better now... than OEM... which I thought was too soft.

Ill check that out and as to the third post or so who refers to my springs not being bad I would imagine they are every time I hit a road imperfection I hear a loud "Thud" not a creek like the compression rods, I also get a loud ticking noise after I take a good turn but I haven't figured that one out yet. Now my rotors need replacing too but I don't imagine the rotors cause that thud
The thud is most likely worn shocks and struts. That is what they sound like when they wear out. Worn springs bottom out really easily or sag excessively. Various worn out bushings also make thuds and knocks.
I put a set of Eibach Pro-Kit springs on mine, dropped about an inch. I just took off the winter wheels and after two winter sessions with those springs those tires show no unusual wear.
I would sell my old stock springs cheap.
