Hello Experts

For the past couple of days, I have been hearing this continuous squeaking noise regardless of whether the gear is in park or drive. The noise sounds exactly like what is heard during the first few seconds of this clip -
It sounds as if something is rubbing against something. Based on a couple of thread, it seems belt is worn out, but I would greatly appreciate if you guys can share some insights on what could be possibly wrong.

Hi - Can someone please guide me? I came across this esoteric article, which is beyond my understanding. I want to get this issue checked with a mechanic, but I would greatly appreciate you help to pinpoint possible issue so that I don't want to get ripped off. Thanks again for reading this post.
