I just purchased a new bumper for my 03 g35s. Everything looks good except that it didn't come with new side marker brackets riveted(or something) onto it. I can pull the old ones off, but how the heck do I get them onto the new bumper?

I have Googled the crap out of this and can't find anything. Please someone give me a suggestion or maybe a workaround.

 

Nevermind. My buddy gave me the idea of just drilling out the rivets and then using a flat round head with washer and a lock nut. Worked like a charm and I am rolling around in style again.
