Just bought a 2003 g35! (Slip,VDC off, ABS) problem
Hey guys. Just bought a 2003 red G35. 58k miles. Bought it from an older couple, it was taken very good care of. Only problem is these lights keep coming on. The lights "SLIP" and "VDC Off" have been on the whole time. Occasionally my ABS light will come on. I have looked through all the forums. I have tried 1. Turning my ABS button on and off (near left knee) 2. Adding Brake Fluid ( Mine was a tad low, so I filled it to the max line ) 3. I unplugged my battery for 20 minutes to reset all the electronics. So far none of this has worked. I have read that it could be a sensor or worn brake pads. Please help!! Thanks.

From my understanding the lights are supposed to come on when the fluid level is low due to worn pads, however if he topped up the fluid and the lights remain on, it leads me to believe there is something else that is the issue.Certainly wouldn't hurt to check the brake pads though just in case. These cars, to the best of my knowledge don't have electronic brake pad indicators such as some VW's I've run into in the past and I'm sure many other cars.

You best bet is to stop guessing what it is or could be. Read the ECU code on the problem. This will give you a very good idea what the problem is. There many different things that will trigger those lights and without the code you will never know.
Just went through the same problem two weeks ago.. .............................and got it fixed............................ READ the Code!!!

b) visit an autozone
c) visit an advanced auto parts (identical to autozone)
B & C will check the code for free for you. Write down code, research, go from there. If neither are available in your area, you can call/check your local shops, most of them can tell you what code(s) you're throwing.
