rubber molding inside door frame coming off

I had some body work performed on the rear quarter panel several years ago and ever since then the rubber door frame gasket keeps falling off.

Im looking for suggestions on how to keep this on permanently.

List what you have tried so far so we don't suggest something that didn't work already.

Is there a particular area that doesn't hold the molding? I would try some 5200 glue, but don't use a lot..

I was thinking the same thing, that why I vent done anything yet. Might try the silicone. Is there a type of silicone I should try.

Mine comes down on the top corner of the frame. towards the back seat headrest. Right in that corner. Almost seems like the piece of rubber is not long enough.

it's held on by pressure and not glued. Probably the rubber gave out or the metal where the part goes ain't gripping the rubber.
