Hey guys! Just joined this forum. I bought my first 04' G35x sedan with 89k miles on it from the dealership. Anything huge I should be looking out for? The dealer claimed the previous owner already performed the 90k service before giving up the car.

Haha thanks! This is my first 6 cylinder car too. My last two cars (Mazda 6, Nissan Altima) were both 4 cylinders so I'm having way too much fun driving this thing!

Right now I'm planning on changing out the stock Bose head unit. It's busted on mine (Won't accept or eject CDs at all). After that I'm gonna throw a CAI on it, then I'll start doing some work to the suspension cuz I really want to lower it an inch or so.

Just make sure you get the jdm kit for the double din and not the metra. Quality is way better. If you want to go with a inch drop I would go with the z springs. And if your at is at 89000 I would check the struts and if bad replace em

Welcome to the G community! Looks like you have a nice small list for your mods. How about some clean pix of the g?

Poke through the classifieds here, on My350Z, and any other G or Z website. Also Craigslist is a good place to check as well if you haven't.

There's a set of 20" GS2's in the marketplace now.
