Question I Have a Few Questions

I've had my 05 G35x for a little over a year ago and theres a couple of things that have become irritating.

I have a rattling noise coming from or around a couple of the windows. It seems to go away if I crack the window just a little bit. Anybody have a similar issue? How did you fix it?

The next one has to do with my seat heater. I've had to look down quite a few times to see if it was on because it seemed to warm up and with summer coming I don't need my butt warmer making it warmer than it already will be would love to have cooled seats but they didnt offer that back then. Anyways anybody have a similar issue?

Thanks

Rattling noise is a really common issue, I have done the TSB for it and it still happens, it drives me nuts

Here is how you do it, its simple. http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/loca...=78&linkid=334

When you look at the switches for the heated seats are the indicators on? I had to replace one of mine because it was worn out and would just fall into the on position. Grubbs has em, I think it was around $40.

It could be a bad contact. It is possible to take the entire switch apart if you're really good with small electronics. I actually tried it myself. I took the whole thing apart, only to discover that my fat fingers made it impossible for me to get it back together. If you look for a thread on here about replacing the heated seat light, that one has pictures and explains how to take the switches apart. After taking it apart and trying to get it back together, I honestly think it's worth the $40 to get a new switch...but that's just me.

i had the same rattling problem on my 05 Nissan Altima, it honestly just happens in time and is extremely common i just had to either tighten the lose clips in the door panel for the window or order the new clips that broke to hold it in snug ... hope this helps a little bit

I had rattling in my '03. When I took the door panel off, one window rail bolt was completely off and another was loose. I had an hour so I took all my door panels off and tightened them all just on GP.
I've been paranoid about the heated seat in summer because I have black leather and I'm sure it holds the heat after youve been in a store a few minutes. Plus, ( In the '03 at least ) the switches are in a terrible spot, very easy to flip on. If you want the peace of mind, maybe disconnect them at the switch. Taking the center console off takes just a few minutes.
