Alternatives to the TL and G35?

"Nominally a replacement for the old Integra sedan, the TSX is spiritually a much different creature with more refinement, more room, more car. An adaptation of the European Honda Accord, the TSX is smaller than the U.S. Accord sedan and more entertaining to drive. The $26,990 base price puts this car in the same general category as edge-of-luxury sedans with prestige nameplates, such as the Audi A4, BMW 325i, and Lexus IS300."

My $.02: TSX nice car and great factory snd sys, yet try it w/ the ac on & the little 4 is taxed. Not enough torque. TL is more mature and ample power. Both great looks, but I am sooo done w/ FWD. Maybe that's why Acura went AWD 4 the new RL. Lexus ES still FWD, no thanks gramps. IS, a fun, little car. Too small. The GS is a car & 1/2, but too much $ & out of this segment. Audi S4 small again, and FWD, unless you chip the 1.8T , torque ^ 240, and get the Quattro then fun but still small. Jag X-Type R, for a cat it lacks prowess. Benz C class 215hp, $39K..pass! Subaru is getting there, certainly in performance, but not yet overall for this mkt segment. Lincoln LS, can't fit in the back seat. Chrysler products = big power, strong new styling, lack durability. Short-term lease only. BMW 3 series, 330 only, and a superb car. 225hp & ~$4K more..close but for Car & Driver and myself because I am a DRIVER, the best in this mkt segment and the car 4 me is the G35. Period. Throw in the JDPower & Assoc Customer satisfaction rating 4 service and the lease programs over the summer and I am smiling.
RE: dealerships and salesman. I worked in the biz 4 5 yrs in finance. The stories I could tell... In short, it's good to have a friend in the car business, but better to have a friend that WAS in the car business. Referrals give you a reason to think that you can trust the person. Do your research and don't rush.

However, I am happy with the G and all the other things you stated hit the nail on the head.
