Replacing Trunk Cardboard Tire Cover

Not sure if that's the best title but I couldn't think of anything better haha. There is a cardboard cover underneath the trunk mats. Basically, I need a new one. My trunk is all caved in due to this bent board. Has anyone replaced this and what did you use? I'm sure you can buy anther but I'm sure they're fairly expensive. Im thinking of just getting a thin piece of plywood or something. Just checking to see if anyone on here has thought of a good cheap fix for this!

Thanks Everyone!

I did this on a civic I owned (plywood). I traced the shape from the original and it worked great.

+1

Use some 1/4" plywood and just trace the shape you want. Unless you have water coming into your trunk, you should never have another cave in problem.

We need a carbon fiber version of this piece, maybe with a Dynamat coating...
