Absolutely no electrical power

I went out to start my car this afternoon. The door unlocked okay with the remote. When I put the key in the ignition there was no power whatsoever. Everything is completely dead. No thing that needs electrical works. Remote does not activate anything at all. Has anyone experienced this? I can only think that a fusible link blew at the battery and completely disconnected everything. Any other ideas? Thanks for the help.

Absolutely no electrical power

I had to leave to get a ride home so I did not get a chance to check anything at the battery. However, there is no power anywhere, not even a hint of power. No interior lights when the door is opened, nothing when the key is put in the ignition, nothing at all when using the remote. The battery itself is only about 6 months old and everything was working perfectly when I had parked it at work only 8 hours earlier. And no, the lights weren't left on.

Thank you all. It was the battery cable. Apparently it worked itself loose as the terminals on the new battery must be thinner than the old battery. The clamp required some modification to make it a little tighter.
