Cabin noise

So, trying to get through past posts re cabin noise, dull rumbling, fuel damper, piston slap, etc.
2004 Sedan. RWD. Cabin noise is a dull roar coming from passenger side. Cannot, like everyone else, try to explain this noise. Car runs great but makes a very strange noise especially at idle from passenger side. My younger daughter last night (while we were parked outside Safeway while wife ran in to pick up some veggies) stated that it sounded like a quiet helicopter.
Anyway, I made a sound file that I will attempt to attach to this. It is a wav file and am trying to upload but not sure if I can here. Can someone let me know if it uploaded? If not, how can I get this sound file out?
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jim

Hellicopter sound...

Have you figured out what that sound is? My 04 sedan began making the same sound in February and it's slightly louder now. No change in performance; it does seem to match the rev's.

Thanks, Ach

Guys, I think I have this same problem. My dad who owned the car before me told me that it was just the weather stripping on the doors itself. If you guys don't condition it with the proper conditioner, sometimes it just doesn't form a good enough seal as it used to and allows a lot of road, mechanical, etc noice to come into the cabin.

I personally need to replace my rear passengers side door's strip and should be riding quiet inside again. So I would check that for any areas that look fatigued - spots where it looks a little depressed and wouldn't form a good seal anymore.

Cabin noise...

It's definately not a weather stripping issue. The noise does not start until I drive about a mile. It's also more noticable at idle.
