well before i take it to get checked up
i was driving for about 30 minutes and when i stopped the car when i put it in reverse i would give it gas and it wouldnt go and the vdc and check engine came on so i turned the car off and on and only the check engine light came on and the car works like normal now is it a sensor? or something like that

 

You need someone with a code reader, like autozone, to read the codes.

 

Go to pepboys or autozone, get the codes and post it.
