best fluids and oils to use

i have a black 05 sedan.
and there is some maintenance due and id like to do as much of it by myself as possible.

and i was just wondering what oil and fluids you guys reccomend.
main ones i need now are engine, tranny and diff.

i have a bunch of friends reccomending royal purple or lucas oil.

also since i got it in 2010 my windshield washers havent worked. I checked all the fuses and they are good. ive disconected the hoses at the wiper and blew in it and you can hear bubbles in the resivoir. but i think my pump may be bad? i filled it up shortly after i got it and its litterally still overflowing when you take off the cap, 2 years later. ive put needles and what not in the sprayers themselves there was some calcium but i just cleaned it with clr. do i need a new pump?

Use only Nissan fluids. You can get them at the dealer or on eBay for about the same price.

For engine oil just use Castrol Syntec 5W30 and call it a day. There are way too many threads on what's the best oil to use and etc etc. Royal Purple is a waste of $$ btw.

Tranny you're going to need to get it from the dealership and it won't come cheap, but it's the only thing that will work. Should be around $15 a quart unless you can get it a different way or you know people.

Diff you have more choices.. 75W-90 or 80W-90. Mobil1 synthetic is cheaper usually and it works fine. That's what I'm replacing mine with soon when I get my car back.

Not sure about the wipers though.

For the trans you can use Castrol import multi vehicle trans fluid; no need to use the Nissan Matic J or S, unless you are under warranty. For oil, use Penzoil, Castrol or Mobil 1 synthetic. For rear diff, use one of the major oil manufacturers 75W90 synthetic.

I wouldn't use Royal Purple since it is cost prohibitive. If I was going to use a premium oil, I would use Amsoil.

In my car: for oil I use Mobil1 full synthetic, the other fluids are factory.

On my car, I used redline synthetic oils for the tranny and rear diff.. For engine I use ENEOS 5W-30 paired with a K&N oil filter.. Felt a huge difference, highly reccomend it!

German castrol 0w-30 especially for the weather here.

Matic J for tranny and K and N oil filters (Mobil 1 and Bosch ones are pretty good too).
