Windshield Wipers?

I put RainX windshield wipers on my G35x and am quite disappointed... There's always one area that water will stay smudged on (co-incidently right in front of me while driving) and the driver's side wiper doesn't get everything off so there are some dirt remains (very hard to see if you're the passenger) on the very side of my car.

What wipers do you guys get/recommend?

I use the rain-x (I think latitude) as well. I had noticed the same spot you are talking about too. Right where the bottom of the driver side wiper blade when it is at the top of its arc. It was worse on a duralast set that I bought once. The rain-x orange windshield washer fluid is awesome! Wal-mart has the best price for that.

I use the GoodYear Assurance wipers from Costco. They work great, and are $8 a piece here in WA.

I'm running Rain X wipers now and I like them. If you're looking to try something else though you shoudl check out Bosch Icons.

Hmm... I've heard a lot of good things about them. It doesn't rain much here in Southern California so for my needs I think they're a bit expensive but everyone else I've talked to said they are great.

I have the RainX latitudes as well, and am having the same exact issues. Seems to happen worse when driving at high speeds...I wonder if the design causes them to lift with the wind?

I am having this same issue and I have actually taken them back and got a new set. I live in middle Tennessee and its rains quite frequently so its very very frustrating to me. It seems to happen when it first starts raining and at higher speeds. If anyone finds a solution to this or a wiper blade that works properly please let me know I would greatly appreciate it.

Most of the time its not the wiper blades its the windshield. I have some Armor All windshield cleaner I got a WHILE back and I used it on the G when I washed her.

I had the same problem with you guys and after I wiped down and cleaned the glass, the wiper blades cleaned nicely with no residue.

There are also these wiper blades they sell that has a "lip" on the backside.

When you go fast the wind will push the wiper on the windshield more and clear water better.

Ive never tried them but I always seem them on high end cars like BMWs and Benz. Hell even Prius' have em

I bought Valeos that look like that design from Tirerack. Not many issues with it, they wore out in about a year. Then i got Sil-blades off amazon, they are getting to be about a year old now, still fine, no issues with streaking. Think my next set will be cheap-o walmart ANCO's or if i have the time to source out some BOSCH stuff.

I tend to stay away from things that have a lot of hype like Rain-X blades, Royal purple oil, Mobil 1 oil filters. Not saying they are bad but your paying extra for the marketing.

I have anco after buying latest and greatest. Funny thing is they work better and last just as long for under $10 a blade.
