What is the best AUX for my 06 sedan?

My CD player is broken and I cant play music on my Android phone through the tape cassette to aux player because my G35 doesnt have a tape player.

So what is the best AUX thing I can buy to play music? I read the DIY so it seems easy enough.

And how much do they usually cost?

Also, is the sound quality good because when I used an FM transmitter, quality was horrible!

Check out the USA Spec, plugs into the SAT harness, supports ipod with text display and has an auxilary port. The sound quality is much better than any FM transmitter. I paid a little over $100 for mine from a local audio supplier. There are several DIY's on this site, just search USA Spec or PA15-INF

+1 on usa spec. installed mine a month ago and im very satisfied. no need to remove radio it plugs in to sat connector in your trunk. hardest part was fishing wiring under carpet to my center console. $122 shipped. the unit that connects to the back of radio is bout $100 but not worth the extra work imo

Where is the sat connector located in the trunk?

I believe it depends on the models but in my 2006, it is on the top left corner hiding behind the covers.

And could someone possibly give me a link for the pa15-inf? It has an aux cable, right?
If I connect it via trunk ... can I still use an aftermarket satellite radio?

sat connector in sedans are on the lower right hand side. you have to remove the trunk liners to get to it. you can't miss it it's folded over with tape.

got mine through amazon. it only comes with iphone connector it doesnt come w/ aux jack. you must buy that separately. I got a 3.5mm jack for my android phone as i dont have apple products. i ran both though just in case i ever need it. people usually go the iphone route because you keep steering wheel control and charging at the same time.

This is great! I am very interested in installing the PA15-INFI in my '05 so I can play Pandora through my phone.

The only thing is that I also have an Android phone - and not an iPhone. Which 3.5mm aux jack did you buy for your android phone?

When I look at the back of the PA15-INFI, it only has an input for the Apple cables (i.e. cable CB-PA105). Is there a CB-PA105 to aux cable convertor that can be purchased? Or something else? Would you have a link to the aux cable that you bought and that you were able to use with the PA15-INFI and an Android phone?

Thanks!

I went to my local audio shop and he recommended me the INSI531.

Total from him would be $200 including labor and part(s). This has an auxiliary cable (2) actually. I think he will install it in the trunk where the satellite tuner is supposed to be and fish it to my armrest. So we'll see how it goes when it's installed in two weeks.

I would do a double din with the JDM HU, but budget is low right now. All I need in all honesty is music through my phone, that is all.

Does anybody have any reviews on the INSI531?
