Theres the problem.

First, don't ever use Armorall. Its well known around here that the stuff cracks apart dashes and door liners.

Second, the dash isn't leather, its vinyl with a leather texture. An interior vinyl protectant works much better and doesn't leave that greasey feel or look. Meguires makes a great one that I've heard nothing but good about.

Does anyone know how to remove the dash? I have looked all over the internet but come up with nothing. I have removed the center console including the radio, the dash vents and trim pieces, as well as the A-Pillers on both sides. I imagine I am going to have to remove all the pieces around the steering wheel including the gauge cluster in order to remove the piece that blocks the sunlight from the gauges(dont know what thats called lol). Other than that I am not to sure what else needs to come out. Any help would be appreciated.

i wish i had taken pictures when i did mine but i just was trying to fly through it.
first check out the doublde din removall
then check out the thread on installing lighted cruise controls (will help with steering wheel removal)
there are about 4 bolts holding the cluster on from the bottom and two or so holding it from the front this is off the top of my head. the pass airbag has two bolts. there are two screws on both sides of the dash under the defroster cover things.
doing all that and reading along with the infinitihelp site.
while doing all those make sure u bag all the bolts and label them

Honestly? Look on Amazon or autozone for a cheap vinyl dash repair kit

Honestly? Look on Amazon or autozone for a cheap vinyl dash repair kit. You can't ever match the color exactly, but if those are the extent of your cracks, it isn't worth going through too much more trouble to fix it.

The best "fixes" I've seen over the years are when you put silicone in the crack, smooth it out, and let it dry to arrest the advancement of the crack. Then you use the crappy dash repair kits to try and match the color and texture over the line of the crack. It never looks exact, but with time and practice it doesn't look "as bad" as the crack.

One of the guys I went to high school with perfected repairing his Honda dashboard by sanding down unseen parts of the dash, saving the dust, and mixing that with silicone to fill the cracks on the top of his dash. The texture never matched, but the color did.

Otherwise, you're looking at replacing the top dash. Your decision.

I have 148k on my 05, park it outside in 120 weather during the summer. No cracks since all I have ever done is wipe the dash with a wet cloth.

I have a Like New 2006 white G35 with only 1,445 miles never gets sun and never use any product in the dash, and the dash is completely crack everywhere.

Is like this about two years a go!

I think the materials using for the new cars sucks, I have a 1991 MR2 and all the parts are in great mint shape.

I can post a picture later.
